Here is a sneak peek from my session with Madison and her parents. You may have seen Madison on my blog before when she modelled for a commercial shoot here. Her Mum, Sarah, is the very talented & creative owner of children’s clothing label Madi & Me. After doing a commercial shoot for her last year, it was time for some family portraits. For such a petite little girl, Madison has a big personality and she certainly has Mum & Dad wrapped around her little finger But who could resist this beautiful face? She has the most mesmerising eyes and perfect lips….

You would never know from these images that Madison was a bit tired & cranky on the day of her session…..

Sneak Peek {Commercial child photographer, Sydney}

Here is a sneak peek of some commercial photography I am working on for Princess Ratbag. I love using my girls as models for commercial photography assignments as it is a good excuse to take some more shots of my two favourite subjects! It is also nice to open up a glossy mag and see a beautiful photograph of one of my girls in there, something to keep for them when they are older. Princess Ratbag make the most gorgeous pettiskirts made with layers of luxurious fabric and ribbon. I have a collection of these pettiskirts available for client sessions. The sparkly red shoes {Child photographer Sydney}

I found a willing little model today, eager to have her new sparkly red shoes photographed (for all of five minutes). I cannot tell you how much joy these shoes have given Amelie. They have barely left her feet since we bought them last weekend!

And of course I couldn’t forget my ever willing model (within reason) who is growing up so very fast….

My girls are the reason why I developed my hobby of photography into a business. They help me find the inspiration and passion I have for my work everyday.

First session of the year! {Sydney Children’s Photographer}

I am now back into the swing of things after an enjoyable Xmas break! I had my first session a few days ago with this lovely family in a beautiful Aussie bush location. I have met this family through Amelie’s preschool so it was great to start off the session on some familiar ground. Now, I often get asked by my clients, what should we wear? Well I have an example for you as this Mum did a great job choosing outfits. Coordinated but not “matching” with no bold clashing patterns is the key……and don’t they make such a beautiful family?

I spent a lovely afternoon in the company of this beautiful family on the weekend. Alannah is a very sweet little girl and I loved getting to know her. After spending time with her parents, I can tell where she gets her personality from as they are two of the warmest, friendliest and most relaxed clients I have ever had!

Alannah kept herself very busy, blowing kisses, playing with rose petals & hanging out with Mum & Dad.

And I just had to get some shots of this beautiful couple….

Last weekend I met up with these adorable sisters and their parents in a beautiful park in the Sutherland Shire. We were blessed with a very warm winter’s day. Little Sophie loved my spotty tea set and was offering me “hot” cups of tea and laughing when I pretended it was too hot It was so cute! I know Mum is waiting to see a peek of the shots from the session so here they are…..

Book now for Christmas Portraits {Family Photography, Sydney}

I know that it must seem very early to be thinking about Christmas but it will be upon us before we know it! Clients wishing to be assured of delivery of their portraits before Christmas (ready to be handed out as gifts to extended family) need to schedule their session with me to be held in September, October or the first two weeks of November. My suppliers get very busy at this time of year and bring their order deadlines forward, so please get in touch with me soon so I can lock in your session date. I will still be taking session bookings for late November and into December but I cannot guarantee delivery in time for Christmas for these sessions.
