Here is a sneak peek from my session with Madison and her parents. You may have seen Madison on my blog before when she modelled for a commercial shoot here. Her Mum, Sarah, is the very talented & creative owner of children’s clothing label Madi & Me. After doing a commercial shoot for her last year, it was time for some family portraits. For such a petite little girl, Madison has a big personality and she certainly has Mum & Dad wrapped around her little finger But who could resist this beautiful face? She has the most mesmerising eyes and perfect lips….

You would never know from these images that Madison was a bit tired & cranky on the day of her session…..

A day with Allegra {Sydney Children’s Photographer}

When Kate first contacted me to ask me to do a “Day in the Life” session with her little girl, Allegra, I was excited. This is something I had been wanting to try for a while but had never had a client request it before. Not only that, Kate spoke such beautiful words about how much she values photography and wants to capture every moment as Allegra is growing up so quickly. Here was a woman after my own heart! Kate wanted to capture all of Allegra’s daily activities and favourites things to do including dancing, talking on the phone, trying on shoes, taking a bubble bath, eating and playing outside. So with the help of Kate’s magnificent supply of gorgeous outfits for Allegra and her fabulous attention to detail, we did just that. These images are going to be used by Kate to create a special surprise for her husband’s upcoming birthday. She assures me he doesn’t spend his time looking at photography blogs so it was ok to post some of the images here!

Allegra has such a sweet personality, she was so much fun and full of energy. This is a big sneak peek as I spent most of the day with her…..

Alex & Jessica {Sydney Family Photography}

Here is a sneak peek from my session with a lovely family I met on the weekend. Little Alex was so adorable and at my favourite age for photographing babies (in the 6 to 12 month age range). And he was just so easy going throughout the whole session! Big sister Jessica wasn’t too thrilled about having her photos taken at first but as you can see from the images below, she soon got over that and started to enjoy herself. I think she liked that lollipop I gave her a bit too much, it didn’t leave her hand for the rest of the session

Louise & Darren, it was great to meet you. Don’t worry, we got some great shots…. there are a lot more to show you in your gallery!

James & Ruby {Sydney baby photographer}

The kids went back to school today so now it is time to catch up on some work! This session was held on a very hot day where temperatures reached 43 degrees in parts of Sydney. Fortunately are our session was held by the water with a lovely sea breeze so we managed just fine. Meet James & his little sister Ruby, aren’t they gorgeous?

Tiny Sneak Peek {Sydney Children’s Photographer}

Here is a tiny sneak peek for my very patient clients from a session I held a few days ago. Little Ruby is one of the most beautiful little girls I have photographed. I fell in love with her beautiful brown eyes, dark silky hair and porcelain skin. Her brother is gorgeous too, wait till you see him! Just one shot to post today but I promise a much bigger sneak peek to follow soon….

The sparkly red shoes {Child photographer Sydney}

I found a willing little model today, eager to have her new sparkly red shoes photographed (for all of five minutes). I cannot tell you how much joy these shoes have given Amelie. They have barely left her feet since we bought them last weekend!

And of course I couldn’t forget my ever willing model (within reason) who is growing up so very fast….

My girls are the reason why I developed my hobby of photography into a business. They help me find the inspiration and passion I have for my work everyday.

I am now back into the swing of things after an enjoyable Xmas break! I had my first session a few days ago with this lovely family in a beautiful Aussie bush location. I have met this family through Amelie’s preschool so it was great to start off the session on some familiar ground. Now, I often get asked by my clients, what should we wear? Well I have an example for you as this Mum did a great job choosing outfits. Coordinated but not “matching” with no bold clashing patterns is the key……and don’t they make such a beautiful family?

This last image is one of my favourites from the session…..

I can’t believe the year is almost over! I have had so much fun this year photography so many children & families. I want to thank all my clients for inviting me into their lives. It has truly been an honour to capture these special memories for you and to know that my images are adorning so many homes out there. I would like to wish all my clients and blog followers a Xmas filled with love & happiness! I have put together a collage of some of the children and families I photographed in 2009, sorry I couldn’t fit everybody in it was getting too big…..

Jasper {Sydney Baby Photographer}

Here is a sneak peek from my recent session with Jasper. This gorgeous little boy is such a bundle of energy & joy! When he smiles that big gummy smile his whole face literally lights up and his eyes sparkle His Mum & Dad requested a casual & relaxed session in their own back garden which was perfect!

This teddy bear belonged to Jasper’s Dad when he was a baby! I love including special items like this into a photo session….

Natalie & Tim, it was so nice to finally meet Jasper, you have created a truly beautiful little soul! I hope you like your sneak peek and I will be in touch when I have the rest of your gallery ready.
